day 6 : st nikolaus day

Sorry I'm a little late posting today. I had to watch a terribly riveting ACC football championship game last night. Only to have my team lose :(

have you been naughty or nice? if you put your shoe outside last night and received oranges and candy, then you must have been good. but if you received twigs and coal...better luck next year! I grew up leaving my shoe outside before bed on December 5 to find this out.

St. Nikolaus' Day is a traditional holiday in Germany and Europe, that is celebrated. My father grew up in Germany participating in this holiday tradition, and wanted me to enjoy it as well.

Sooo, for December 6 we are celebrating St. Nikolaus, a little differently. Instead of receiving an orange or coal...you are getting jewelry packaged in a sparkling coal gift box! So you can be a little naughty and still get something nice!
